It’s back, the journey across the globe for 2018 is about to begin.

Introducing ‘The WORLD SLIOTAR’ campaign 2018, how far can your sliotar go.? What materialised over a cup of tea in our Ennis store developed into one of the biggest success stories early last year. After purchasing 5,000 sliotars in the lead up to the mighty All-Ireland Final where Clare defeated Cork after a replay in Croke Park, we were now left with a large quantity of bespoke branded sliotars in 2017. Without an All-Ireland Final to show for since, we put our ideas together and decided to send our sliotars right across the globe.

Over the past number of years we have set out to create unique marketing campaigns to promote ourselves locally and nationally but this campaign was taking it international.

If we have so many sliotars how could we encourage local people, ex-pats , friends, family and followers to take these around the world on their journeys. We introduced a new and exciting line of ambassadors that would help us feed our message, including the full Clare Hurling panel, Jason Flynn from Galway (All-Ireland Winner 2017) and Cian Lynch from Limerick. ‘The World Sliotar’ was born.

Our images landed far and wide including South Korea, Toyko, Japan, Duabi, Algeria, Paris, Russia and even at base camp Mount Everest with John Burke. It’s now time to re-launch.. Stay tuned as we officially release the latest campaign ever.
