What makes a Secrid different

Every Secrid is built around an aluminium Cardprotector — a small machined case that holds your cards and pushes them out in a fan at the press of a lever. That one component does three things a normal wallet cannot.

It stops cards bending or snapping, which is what kills most cards carried in a back pocket. It shields against wireless skimming, so cards cannot be read through the case. And it forces the wallet to stay slim, because the case holds a fixed number of cards and physically will not take more.

The wallets are designed and assembled in the Netherlands, and the Cardprotector is guaranteed for the life of the wallet. If a leather outer wears out, the mechanism can be moved to a new one.

Which model?

Cardslide — the smallest. Cardprotector plus a slot for a couple of notes. For a front pocket or a jacket.

Slimwallet — the most popular. Holds up to twelve cards, folded notes and receipts, and still sits flat.

Leathers

Secrid uses several finishes and they age quite differently. The smooth Original leather softens and darkens with use. Vintage is treated to look worn from the start. Crisple has a fine grain that hides marks well, which makes it the most practical for daily carry. Matte is the cleanest looking and the least forgiving of scratches.
